Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something or get an insurance quote, we may earn a commission or referral fee, at no extra cost to you.

We may join affiliate programs from retailers and brands such as Chewy, Amazon and pet insurers. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases (this applies once we're accepted into the Amazon Associates program).

What this means for you

• Commissions don't change what we recommend or the order we list things in.
• Sponsored listings are clearly labeled "Sponsored," and sponsors can't buy a place in our comparisons or tools.
• Links to sources such as vet schools, breed clubs and policy pages are never affiliate links.
